'In line with gig-Jordans strategy in building the capacity of its employees and developing their skills, the companys human resources department organized a training course entitled "International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)" for its employees from 25/11/2018 to 2/12/2018. This course reflects the companys commitment to provide its employees with the highest quality of training by keeping up with the latest and the best international practices. Dr. Jamal Al Taraireh, Consultant Director at BDO-Jordan, gave the 12-hour training course. During the course, the updated international accounting standards were discussed in addition to special focus on the IFRS 9 standard regarding the financial tools, financial reserves, and the IFRS 16 standard that sets the principles relating to the evidence, measure and disclosure of rent contracts.
